CSIRO joins in the fun of the National Science Week Pavilion at the Brisbane Ekka from August  6 - 15. The CSIRO booth will feature the 3D film commissioned for Canberra's CSIRO Discovery Centre (a taste of things to come perhaps, with a Discovery Centre planned for the new Boggo Rd Science Precinct) - as well as an interactive 'Beginners Guide to Climate Change' and a colouring-in competition for children based around Livestock Industries research.

 

CSIRO is looking for volunteers to help staff the booth - if any Alumni are interested in volunteering, we need people for the following shifts:

Sat 8 August (2 shifts available- 9am to 2pm and 2pm to 7pm)

Wed 12 August (2 shifts available- 9am to 2pm and 2pm to 7pm)

Sat 15 August (2 shifts available- 9am to 2pm and 2pm to 7pm)

 

Volunteers receive a free Ekka day pass.
