At 8.30 pm on Saturday 27 March 2010, cities around the world will
turn off their lights for one hour to show that it's possible to take
action on climate change.
CSIRO will participate in Earth Hour, along with other Federal
Departments and Agencies, by turning off the lights in our buildings.
We would encourage you to show your support by turning off lights and
power to any other
non-essential equipment, for example computer monitors, televisions and
home entertainment systems.
Imagine what we could achieve by acting every day to reduce energy
consumption! One hour can kick-start the habits of a lifetime. Click Here to find out what
you can do to get involved.
