Interested in joining our Wine club?

A new Wine Club special interest group has been established on AxON.  All wine enthusiasts from the novice to the oenophile are encouraged to join this group.   There is a group discussion blog where you can start discussions or share ideas.   

If you would like to start a wine tasting group in your region - make a suggestion on the group blog.

Alumni are invited to join the following established wine groups:

North Ryde Wine group

The group meets once a month in the canteen of the Riverside Life Sciences Centre building, CSIRO North Ryde site, usually the 3rd or 4th Friday of the month from 5.00pm onwards. Every meeting is hosted by a different member/members who present a series of wines. Cost is usually $10 per meeting.

Highett Wine group

The group meets monthly at the CSIRO canteen at the Highett site from 5.30pm onwards with the occasional meeting being hosted at the Aspendale and Clayton sites.  Cost is $15.00 per meeting.  If you are interested in joining the Highett Wine group or to find out more, please contact Guy Metcalf on guy.metcalf@csiro.au.
