Funeral details - Dr. Huntly Higgins

CSIRO and staff of the former Division of Chemical Technology are saddened by the death of an outstanding Chief, Huntly Higgins, on Friday 16 December 2011.
He was a world authority on the science of papermaking. His work ranged from providing an understanding of cellulose-based fibre bonding to improving the quality of a range of forest products.
Huntly will long be remembered as a leader, friend, and mentor of his staff. As an Honorary Fellow in the Division of Forest Products, Huntly continued his interest in the fundamentals of paper physics for many years.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday 22nd December at Le Pine Chapel, 741
High St, East Kew at 2.30pm.
